Lanette is a 2025 RBC Women of Influence Nominee and recipient of the CBS/BAFGC Best Executive Producer and IBDFF Best International Producer Awards. A Share Her Journey Fellow and Madrid Short Film Festival honoree, she has led A WWB through acclaimed accelerators and international delegations to Cannes, SXSW, Fame Week Africa, and the European Film Market.
A lifelong performer, published writer, and Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio, she holds memberships with SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, the CMPA, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Lanette’s mission is clear: to create compelling, socially resonant content that entertains, uplifts, and redefines what’s possible through storytelling.
